You have the option to store a GitHub Personal Access Token within AAD for enhanced functionality. This token is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. It is used solely to authenticate and enable certain features within the extension.
AAD may collect and store exception logs troubleshoot issues with the extension. These logs may include error messages, stack traces, app version, created date and exception info based exception. The important thing to note is that these logs I'm asking to send with notification and user can choose to send or not.
Although it will not collect any metric data during the waitlist process, it can allow me to collect metrics anonymously by enabling metrics that are turned off by default in the settings after the waitlist ends, otherwise I never collect metrics.

As mentioned above, we may use exception logs to troubleshoot issues with the extension. This helps us identify and resolve bugs and other technical issues.
Abnormal delayed loading and seeing the increase in my audience can be a sign of a problem. I can use metrics to identify these problems and improve the extension. I will ask the user to enable metrics but it is turned off by default.
